Back after a sellout season in 2014, Limbo has been hailed by Timeout as ‘an irresistible cocktail of circus skills, live music and sexy humour’. At its home at the Festival Village, it promises a circus that’s wild, wicked and out of this world.
3. Higher Ground
Inspired by the mind-bending works of MC Escher, artist in residence, Maser has combined geometry and colour with this architectural installation. A playground relying on your to bring it to life!
4. The Artist Live in Concert
Harking back to the old Hollywood romance of black and white cinema, and taking out countless awards, The Artist is back and being brought to life on stage by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. With an electrifying score, this nod to the golden age of cinema fittingly takes place in the beautiful Sydney Opera House.
5. Opera in the Domain
Presented by Opera Australia, this is a night to celebrate the power of the human voice in whichever way you choose. Set under the stars in the Domain, take a picnic, dress up, dress down, sing along, this is a cultural celebration at its finest.
