Come out of your shell! Crab Carnival is back and better than ever!
From 20th March to 16th April The Morrison Bar & Oyster Room with chef Sean Connolly proudly bring you a month long celebration of the crustacean. A collection of crab dishes, crab-themed cocktails, steam pot nights and hermit crab racing!
So, whether you’re a crab novice or a committed crab lover, come down and be part of the biggest crab appreciation carnival Sydney has ever seen.
Let’s get cracking! With an additional 8 crab-themed dishes on the menu, you’d be crackers not to try it one! Winter warmers such as the King Crab Mac & Cheeses or the Blue Swimmer ‘Nabe’ in miso broth to share – as well as Crab Doughnut Holes and Crab Po Boy’s for a bite-sized crab snack!
A long-time crab man, chef Sean Connolly was inspired by his recent travels to New York and Tokyo, his menu this year will not disappoint!
Our Crab menu will be available during lunch (12-3pm) and dinner (6pm – 10pm) in addition to our A la Carte menu.
Every Thursday night Louisiana Broil Steam Pots will be on offer in the restaurant. Roll up your sleeves and have your crackers, hammers and bibs at the ready as you’re in for a flavour-packed treat!
Prepare to get messy as these delicious crustaceans get tipped straight onto the table, with all hands in – as legs and shells are sent a flying! It’s so much fun you’ll get a little sideways!

When Crabby met Mary… Our twist on the classic Bloody Mary – a spicy blend of Ketel One vodka, spiced tommy-j and garnished with celery, chilli, pickles and a crab claw.
Crab-Apple Sangria… The perfect tipple to share with friends, Sangria Bianco with a Morrison twist! Vino Bianco, Calvados, peaches, apple and cranberry – Delish!

Ready – Set – Scuttle! Our hermit crabs are race ready, get in on the action every Thursday night*.
Races will be held at 7pm & 7.30pm, although sweeps are limited so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
