If you consider yourself a foodie and feeling a little bit festive – why not have a crack at Sean’s Piccalilli relish?
The perfect gift for family and friends, we like ours with cold cuts and left over turkey and ham, thick slices of seeded bread and some crumbly vintage cheddar. Harking from England, piccalilli originated in the late 1600’s inspired by pickled vegetables with Indian spices, although regionally speaking the flavours vary widely.
Quick and easy to make – Sean’s recipe below makes enough for roughly 3 medium jars, so adapt the quantities accordingly. Bring to your Christmas Day lunch, or package individually and give away as a gift… whatever tickles your pickle!
