Last night (22nd March) the government announced a closure of all non-essential services, effective from 12pm today (23rd March), and so we are closing our doors. Covid-19 has tightened its grip on our beautiful country and the time for change is now.
This is a moment that requires sacrifice and commitment from us as a company, as a community and as individuals, to ensure our loved ones have a chance at remaining safe and to ensure the hospital system doesn’t falter.
Thank you to our community who have continued to support us through challenging times and who we know will support us when we are able to re-open again.
To our incredible staff who over the last few weeks have withstood all manner of change and challenges and now face uncertain times ahead. We promise to do everything in our power to support you as you have us.
To all our loyal customers, we hope to welcome you back as soon as it is safe to do so. In the meantime, stay safe and look out for each other.

These are challenging times as our country and the International community band together in the wake of the Coronavirus (COVID- 19) pandemic. I’d like to personally update you on the precautionary measures we at The Sydney Collective are taking to ensure the safety of all guests and employees.
The safety and wellbeing of our guests and employees has always been, and will remain our top priority and we encourage everyone to remain calm but vigilant at this challenging time. We would like to assure you that all reasonable steps are being taken to mitigate against the risk of transmission of infection within the venue.
As we continue to navigate through this, our guiding principles remain: to keep all of our Sydney Collective venues and our employees safe; to continue to serve our customers with the highest standards; to do our part to slow community spread of the virus so that the most vulnerable people are able to get the care they need; and to support all of our customers, staff members and teams through what is uncharted waters, ensuring that support is available and clear communication and direction is given.
While we have always maintained excellent standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all of our venues, we have introduced a number of additional precautionary measures to reduce the risk of infection and keep our communities safe. These include:
• Hygiene and sanitation stations present throughout all venues
• Increased food safety measures
• Minimising person to person contact within our service environment
• Retraining all staff around hygiene practices and COVID-19
• Clear communication outlining the steps to take should a customer, or employee present as unwell
• A 24/7 COVID-19 response team
• Sanitation deep cleaning of our venues on a daily basis
In addition to this, we are ensuring that any staff that show any signs of illness or have traveled overseas are staying home.
Our processes will evolve where necessary as we continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation. In the meantime, we are open for business and we encourage you to continue to support local businesses while it is safe to do so.
